The overall loss of China's furniture industry has been increasing, with a total loss of 2.25 billion yuan in 2017, an increase of 320 million yuan over the same period in 2016. By the first half of 2018, the number of furniture manufacturing enterprises in China had risen to 6217, of which 958 had lost money, with a loss of 15.4% and a total loss of 2.06 billion yuan.

According to the latest statistics from the Bureau of Statistics, furniture retail sales in June 2018 reached 21.3 billion yuan, an increase of 15% compared with the same period in 2017. In 2018 1-6, furniture retail sales amounted to 105 billion 300 million yuan, an increase of 10.1% over the same period last year.

From the point of view of growth rate, the national furniture retail sales increased by 10.1% from January to June 2018, which is higher than the 0.7 percentage point growth rate of the total retail sales of consumer goods in the same period. According to the latest data, China's furniture retail market is good in the first half of 2018. At the same time, it reflects the huge demand for home furnishing industry, and the demand will lead to the market.
